Is That Really Necessary?

The Home Depot by us has recently installed cameras with annoyingly bright LED lights pointed at you on the self checkout lanes.
Really?
Really?  Is that really necessary?  If I'm at the self checkout lane, I'm obviously planning on paying for my items.  And also?  This is the DG, not Ford Heights.

Maybe they should have used that money towards an extra security guard instead of blinding me.

    It is my sincere hope that you made sure to tell the store's General Manager of your discontent. If we don't speak our minds, they'll never know. You're the customer.
